OMG! Fox News Evangelical Cultism!

I don't watch the Glen Beck show, but get a load of what is going on there with this youtube. Who says the right in the US aren't aren't influenced by Evangelical weirdos?

THIS IS NOT SATIRE! I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT SATIRE!

This is why, even though I lean right of centre in the political spectrum, cannot go near people like this. I think Rush Limbaugh and his dittohead followers are not far off from this. Essentially, it's a mass of people who want to be preached to, and have something to belong to. Jim Jones knew this impulse.

I'd love to hear what they have to say about this at Small Dead Animals. What's that? crick, crick, crick....

  1. This is a lot like the early stages of Hitler`s rise to power. He preached about the greatness of German nationalism, and how great the German people were. In return the German public loved him.
I guess these cult like leaders draw people in, like flies to you know what.

  2. Yes, there was something really creepy about it:

    -The religious-like certainty.

-The weird rhetoric: "We knew what to do on 9/12, without talking about it."

    -The fake crying.

  3. The religious-like certainty, bingo! People just crave to have all the issues solved in one quick swoop. Hitler also took advantage of a scapegoat, to the take blame for all the German problems. No need to blame yourself for starting WW1, just blame the Jews. You have to get a little nervous, when you start hearing these cult like preachers.
The end of the story tends to be rather ugly.
